Me

Soulful Expressions is a space shaped by creativity, faith, and honest encounter with the hard seasons of life. Through art-making, reflection, and storytelling, I share my own journey of suffering, spiritual awakening, and growing faith in God—viewed through the lens of Scripture and the expressive therapies continuum, a way to understand how creativity relates to the mind and soul. This work is not about fixing or teaching, but about witnessing what unfolds when we bring our inner life into form. I hope that those who feel lost, searching, or quietly unravelling may recognize themselves here and find permission to listen, create, and seek God in their own way.

My Testimony

My faith has been shaped not through extraordinary moments, but through ordinary seasons—times of searching, confusion, longing, and learning who I am and what God created me to do.

Through the expressive arts, I’ve learned to sit honestly with experiences like anger, loneliness, desire, and doubt, rather than hide them. In these moments, I found that God was always present and speaking. At first, my understanding of God was connected to the New Age movement, and it ran parallel with my creative training as an art psychotherapist. I looked for ways for them to connect and always felt like something was missing. In May of 2025, I began my relationship with Christ, and things began to settle and make sense in a deeper way.

I share this work as a testimony that God meets us in these human places to form us and that something amazing happens as we dive deeper into our spiritual, soulful, expressive selves - we go through a process of renewal, letting go, searching, discovering and rediscovering who we are, how we see the world, and what we are capable of.
